just a few suggestion: 1, use microsoft platform on macbook. 2, add a 'stop' button on ipod. 3, recoganise various video file formats that widely accepted by windows media player. interested to see others' thoughts. Here's me.
Responding to Harry-----------
1. Do you mean NT or some kind of actual physical platform? I assume you mean Windows but then again you can't be serious if you do. Windows already runs on every Intel Mac. All you need is Windows (which Windows users have in spades).
2. Where would this "Stop" button go? Why is it even needed? Play/Pause works through the entire iPod OS and a paused song doesn't affect battery life at all.
3. There's a problem with licensing there. The two video formats the iPod supports (MPEG-4 Part 14 / H.264) are partly licensed by Apple and are of generally higher quality. To support WMV would mean Apple would not only have to license the software from Microsoft, they'd have to support Microsoft's DRM (as a part of the standard terms).
DivX would be similar. Xvid would just invite DivX to take Apple on. Flash is owned by Adobe. MPEG-2 (DVD video) is more money. MPEG-1 is just bad. Vorbis and Matroska could create a legal battlefield.
